Here's a brief mention of Téa Leoni on Madam Secretary
The Star recently caught up with Broecker on the phone from New York where he's working on costumes for a new TV drama called "Madame Secretary" starring Tea Leoni and Tim Daly.
Question: You've been nominated for six Primetime Emmy Awards and four Costume Designers Guild Awards for your work on "30 Rock" and "Saturday Night Live." Why do you think "House of Cards" earned you your first win?
Answer: I think it was just so consistent. It was sort of like a 13-hour movie, so you could see growth, and you could see a character develop, and you could see the longevity of how something was designed for 13 hours. And I think it was just so different. There wasn't anything on TV that had that sort of flavor. Robin is such an interesting character, and no one on TV is like her. No one on TV looks like her. (Her style) struck a chord with a lot of people.
Q: What's it like having to dress people like Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright?
A: Robin's a dream come true. We have such a great relationship and a great rapport. We have this thing where I feel like she's my sister from a different family. We met each other and it was instantly like, "Oh my god, I want to be around you all the time." It's nice when that happens. I'm working on this pilot right now with Tea Leoni, and we have the same relationship. I love her.
